Samplebase Releases New Electronic and Latin Construction Kits

Latin To-Go
Samplebase has opened a new Latin category, adding four new construction kit SoundBlocks to its expanding download platform. Hip-Hop infused Latin has been responsible for some of today’s hottest pop hits from Shakira to Gwen. Already familiar to Samplebase users for their Intense Heat and Player’s Lounge SoundBlocks, Heatseekers present the Latin Hip-Hop construction kits “Bailar Conmigo”, complete with vocals ($39), and synth-drenched “Sueños” ($39), as well as the Latin Rhumba kit “Rhumba Blocka” ($39). “Reggaeton Supremo” ($29) by Catalyst Audio offers the modern Reggae-Latin flavor that currently rules the dance floor.

Electro in the House
In other news, Midihead, the award-winning composer and remix artist, has contributed yet another powerful construction kit for those making intense, slamming dance tracks.

“Electrohouse Music Producer” ($49) was developed by Midihead in collaboration with Austin-based developer Patchen, and it isn’t the typical cookie-cutter package of loops. This SoundBlock is diverse enough to create many styles of cutting edge Electro and Electro House. It contains 20 drum, 32 bass, 9 vocal/vocoder, 13 synth-perc, 10 FX, and 11 transition loops that synchronize perfectly in the Samplebase free sample-player Satellite™. Satellite's powerful synthesis capabilities were put to good use in modifying these loops. Users can tweak Satellite's Quick-Edit knobs and their hardware controller’s mod wheel for dramatic real-time control. These loops were recorded at 127 BPM in the key of D# minor, but can be easily time-stretched and pitch-shifted within Satellite to fit existing tracks. The loops in this construction kit can be used together to create entire Electro tracks, or they can be used individually to serve as foundational elements, or to add some “bang” to already-existing tracks. Five pre-constructed mixes, each with playable intros, verses, choruses and outros, are included to help get the user started making music instantly.
